The numbers are big, but not really that surprising, as PSVR is slightly more affordable than Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and it doesn’t require more than a PlayStation 4 to work.
In addition to that, there are a handful of promising new PSVR titles that should be released in the next few months. Of course, we all keep our fingers crossed for a huge announcement like “Star Wars: Battlefront 2″ or Fallout 4 VR but for now we’ve seen trailers for upcoming games like Theseus – a dark VR experience that expolores the ancient Greek myth in a new, a lot more horrifying way. It also looks a lot like “God of War” from what we’ve seen so far.
The other title is “The Persistense” – an FPS stealth-horror game that we hope we’ll be able to use the new aim controller with.
In the end, we have to believe that what’s good for one VR platfrom is universally good for VR at the moment, especially now, while the VR industry is still growing.
Do you own a PSVR? Do you own an aim controller as well? What games would you like to play on it in the future? Share your experience with us here or on our Facebook page!
